A MAN found guilty of murdering his partner’s three-year-old son has been sentenced to 17 years in jail.
At the end of the week-long trial in Málaga during June, a jury found Antonio Fernández guilty of murder, which it said was an act of revenge against the child’s mother, who is separated from the boy’s father.
The court heard how Fernández collected Alejandro from school in Rincón de la Victoria on February 9, 2015, and then drove to a remote spot in the Montes de Málaga where he drowned the child in a pond.
