A TOTAL of 25 towns in the Vega Baja have been awarded a grant by the provincial government to sterilise stray cats.
The campaign is based on the TNR system (trap, neuter and return) and it has to be carried out before November 1.

What is missing is that the cash is just about enough to neuter 40 cats in each town – doesn’t include the cost of trapping them. Never going to be enough.
