CAR rental firms are on the warpath with internet sites offering private car hire between users.
Just as taxis fought Uber, and the hotel sector battled Airbnb, rent-a-car companies are taking legal action against websites such as Drivy and SocialCar that offer users the chance to rent a private-own car without using a car rental firm.
It makes a change for someone to swindle the car hire firms in Spain, instead of the other way round, about time they recieved some f their own medicine.
