Campaign to save hero immigrant

A MASSIVE campaign is under way to get permanent residence rights for a young Senegalese man and his family after he ran into a burning building to save a man in a wheelchair.
Gorgui Lamine Sow, 20, said ‘his heart told him to do it’ when he risked his life to get Álex Caudeli out of his house. Everyone’s worst nightmare came true for Caudeli, 39, when his home on the C/ Port de Dénia went up in flames and he was unable to escape, as he is in a wheelchair and cannot walk.

  1. When the young man rescued a disabled man from his burning flat the authorities said because of his heroics he and his family were to be given citizenship!!! Have the authorities rescinded on that promise?
