Spain’s airports have garnered a healthy haul of prizes at the ACI Europe Best Airport awards, with Alicante-Elche and Murcia among the winners.
Alicante-Elche Miguel Hernández airport, in the rural district of El Altet, won best European airport in the 15-25 million passengers category for the third time, following 2018 and 2019, and was also lauded by passengers for its efforts to offer the best travel experience, reported state airports company Aena.
