Air-strike shelter found under weeds

GARDENERS clearing dense weeds off a Jávea cliff have dug up an air-raid shelter in near-perfect conditions.
The bunker, built in 1938, appeared after masses of undergrowth were cut back from the Caleta del Port bay near La Grava beach.
It was instantly-recognisable as a shelter used by Jávea’s people during Nazi Germany’s and Fascist Italy’s air-strikes.
