Summer walks


IT’S that time of year again.
The heat has descended. Mad dogs and Englishmen are the only ones venturing out in the midday sun, etc. So, if you’re a mountain walker, what do you do?
There is a place within reach by car from the Costa which allows the intrepid trekker to stretch his or her legs to an almost infinite degree. I am of course talking about the Pyrenees (oh no, here he goes again). This awesome area of mountains on the Spain/France border has been widely covered on this page in previous years. However, it would be impossible to give all the options in a lifetime of Costa Walk articles. So once again this summer, the Pyrenees make an appearance.
