Sports instructor’s reputation damaged by fake abuse claims

A VOLLEYBALL trainer accused of child sex abuse has been acquitted after a judge found no evidence to convict her.
The woman, who has always maintained she is innocent and the stories were false, says she is ‘very upset’ that her reputation has been dragged through the mud – especially as her name was printed in several online newspapers when the case went to court.
Police have declined to reveal which town in the Valencia province she was training in when the accusations came to light.
