A DRUG used by criminals to block victims’ free will has been found growing in Alzira cemetery, according to an expert in ornamental plants who reported them to the police.
Burundanga is used as a date-rape drug and also for theft – a case in Tavernes de la Valldigna (La Safor) a few years ago saw a woman ‘voluntarily’ withdraw €5,000 in cash from her account and give it to strangers who asked her for it after they had drugged her.
