WORK is underway on the site of a new designer outlet being created as an expansion of the Plaza Mayor shopping centre in Málaga.
British developer McArthurGlen, which has teamed up with Plaza Mayor owner Sonae Sierra, says the project will see a €115 million investment to create 30,000 square metres of retail space featuring 170 stores, over two phases of construction.
