Wifi boost for small towns and villages

Free public wireless connections installed in 17 municipalities

Comares is one of the villages that has been outfitted with prublic wifi

Locals and tourists in 17 small towns and villages across Málaga province will now be better connected, after the provincial government announced the installation of a number of free wifi access points.

In a statement last week, provincial deputy José Alberto Armijo said the public wifi plan will help villagers get up to speed with modern technology, and make it easier for them to connect to local administrations for information, and to make appointments and carry out procedures online.
