The finalised plans for new traffic restrictions to reduce the number of vehicles travelling over Ronda’s historical Puente Nuevo bridge were revealed by the town hall last week.
The bridge is to be closed to almost all traffic, from 10am-1.30pm and 5pm-8pm, under the new rules, giving drivers a window in the afternoon during which they can drive over it – unlike previous proposals, which had proposed a blanket 10am-8pm closure.
