A 53-year-old Spanish man was killed in a car accident on Monday evening, after colliding head-on with another vehicle while driving in the direction of Cádiz down one of the AP-7 motorway’s eastbound lanes near Marbella. The driver of the other vehicle was taken to the Hospital Costa del Sol for treatment to non life-threatening injuries, and the investigation into how the man ended up going the wrong way remains open.
