The CGT trade union has issued a statement about the “grave and distressing” conditions that workers at Málaga’s oceanographic institute, in Fuengirola, have to work in. The statement says the building has broken and damaged windows and walls; water leaks and rodent and insect problems which “endanger the health of workers”. A new building to house the institute is expected to open in Málaga next year.
