Water restrictions on farmers and growers in the Axarquía are expected to begin tomorrow, December 1. The committee, made up of regional government representatives and farming communities, last week announced the date which will reduce supplies for irrigation from the Viñuela reservoir by 60 per cent. It was reported last week to be at just 22% capacity.
