The taxman has opened proceedings against Málaga’s municipal transport company (EMT) for unpaid IVA from 2013 and 2014. The business disagrees with the demand for €4.69 million, which followed an inspection of the books by inspectors last year, and is set to take the case to the regional economic administrative court. Similar action is being taken against the public transport operators in Sevilla and Córdoba.
