Fuengirola’s town hall announced last week that it is planning to honour the Guardia Civil and the National Police, by naming a pair of roundabouts on Avenida Alcalde Clemente Díaz Ruiz after the security forces. Mayor Ana Mula said she would propose the change at the next cabinet meeting, adding that the re-naming would be a “tribute to members of these State security forces, and the work they perform daily”.
