Spain could soon have Europe’s tallest building if plans for a six–skyscraper development in Madrid are approved. Included would be a 70-storey giant over 300 metres tall and reaching higher than The Shard in London, presently the tallest inhabitable building in the EU. The Madrid development is part of a continuing wider regeneration scheme in the north of the capital.
