Torremolinos town hall has reallocated €2 million in the municipal budget in order to pay the salaries of workers at the municipal maintenance and cleaning companies, Samset and Aselimsa, for the remainder of the year due to budget shortfalls at the companies. The opposition Partido Popular has criticised the ruling PSOE party for poor budget planning, noting that the governing team is responsible for the companies.
