Farmers in the Axarquía have had water restrictions relaxed, but not abolished, following the rains of the last month. The increase in the level of the reservoir at Viñuela has allowed the regional environment to allocate more water to irrigation, following the 60% cutbacks imposed in December. More water has been promised for May if the situation allows.
