The Izquierda Unida party in Torremolinos is holding a ‘Día de la República’ celebration in Plaza de la Independencia tomorrow, April 15, beginning at 7pm. The tribute to the pre-Franco Second Spanish Republic will include an homage to the 4,500 prisoners who were held in a Francoist concentration camp in Torremolinos between 1938 and 1939.
