Cártama town hall has sent a letter to the Junta de Andalucía’s Industry Department after a series of Valentine’s Day power cuts in the town badly affected local businesses on what was expected to be a busy day, with Valentine’s promotions going on at some 50 establishments. The town hall wants the Junta to pressure electric companies to undertake work to prevent cuts that it says the town typically suffers in inclement weather.
