Mijas town hall has put out to tender a €180,000 contract to draw up construction plans for an indoor swimming pool in La Cala de Mijas. The facility, featuring an Olympic-size 50-metre pool, is to be built near the football pitch and the sports pavilion. Town hall officials say the aim is to start construction next year, with a budget of €3 million.
