An incident at the Axarquía aerodrome, near Vélez-Málaga, on Saturday morning when a plane came off the runway is being investigated by Civil Aviation authorities. At around 10.30am a pilot school aircraft left the runway while coming into land, eventually stopping at the perimeter fence. According to the Real Aeroclub de Málaga, the female pilot suffered no injuries and there was only minor damage to the plane.
