The children’s play-park in the centre of Arroyo de la Miel on Avenida de la Constitución is to be renamed in honour of Idaira Osuna, a four-year-old girl from Benalmádena who died last May after losing her battle with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. The re-naming was announced at last week’s full council meeting, alongside improvements to the park to make it more inclusive for children with special needs.
