Spain’s most-visited monument is considering banning the use of flash photography and “selfie sticks” by visitors. Management at Granada’s Alhambra Palace is evaluating the “bleaching” effects of flashes in “sensitive” areas and claims that accidents could result from the careless use of the sticks. Andalucía’s culture minister Rosa Aguilar has confirmed that a technical commission is to consider the issues.  Photo: EPA
