Former ETA prisoner Arnaldo Otegi, now secretary general of the Sortu party, is not welcome in Málaga. Monday’s meeting of the city’s council approved a motion proposed by PSOE and Ciudadanos councillors to declare him persona non grata. Opposing council members described the move as “electioneering” and “opportunist.”
