San Pedro de Alcántara’s football players have a new pitch in time for the new season, with the town’s municipal stadium unveiling its astroturf surface last week. The deputy mayor for San Pedro, Rafael Piña, said the 460,000 artificial grass investment was a “necessary action” called for by local team UD San Pedro and other sporting clubs in the area.
