Museum Underwater

Work has began on constructing Europe’s first underwater museum in the Canary Islands. The project got underway on Sunday off Lanzarote and will viewed by scuba divers and passengers in glass-bottomed boats. The Museo Atlántico, 12 metres below sea level, includes human sculptures designed to attract marine plant and animal life, which British designer Jason deCaires Taylor says represents the links between humans and nature.
