The first nine months of the year saw a 9.5% increase in the number of passengers using Málaga’s Metro, compared with the same period last year. The average number of weekday passengers was 18,000 while the busiest day was Easter Monday when almost 27,500 people used the system. Since it opened in July 2014, the Metro has now carried almost 16.4 million passengers.
