Frigiliana has lost out to the Castellón town of Morella to be voted the most beautiful municipality in Spain. The public contest was organised by chocolate manufacturer Ferrero Rocher to mark its 25th anniversary in Spain. Mayor José Antonio González said the result was “disappointing” but added that Frigiliana had reached the top three and enjoyed publicity as a result.
