The Las Palomas hotel in Torremolinos was sold at auction last Thursday to the Palia Hotels group for €13.1 million. The hotel has been closed since 2012 after going into administration. In addition to the hotel’s future relaunch, the sale means its almost 100 workers will finally be paid the back salaries they are owed, said the CC.OO trade union.
