Alhaurín de la Torre town hall is to host an event aimed at breaking the Guinness World Records for the number of people carving cured ham at the same time, and the amount sliced. The November 12 event will see over 300 professional ham carvers from around the country slice up 900 kilos of the delicacy in the town’s Plaza de España. Proceeds from sales of the ham will go to charity.
