National Police in Granada are investigating the theft of a lorry loaded with butane gas bottles. The Nissan vehicle belonging to Repsol vanished in the city’s Vicálvaro district late on Friday. Investigators say there has been a black market in gas bottles in recent months while empty bottles are sometimes sold as scrap, but are concerned because of the dangerous nature of the goods.
