Granada police have broken up a gang of eastern Europeans thought to be responsible for more than 40 thefts from vending machines in bars and petrol stations. Three have been detained by Guardia Civil officers in the city who say more arrests are pending. Break-ins in Granada, Málaga and elsewhere are being attributed to the gang, who stole cash and cigarettes.
