A forest fire in Huelva was stabilised on Monday after 18 hours of work by the emergency services. The fire broke out the previous afternoon and was tackled by around 60 ground crew supported by three aircraft. So far this year, 72,000 hectares of land have been razed by summer fires, the highest total for five years.
