The provincial court has upheld the conviction and €90 fine issued to a woman who threatened a nurse at a Torremolinos health centre. On appeal, the defence argued that under last year’s reforms to the penal code the incident, in which the woman told the nurse “I’m going to kill you”, should not be considered a criminal offence, but a civil infraction. The court rejected the argument.
