Benalmádena’s town hall announced last week that a six-month regional government employment plan in the town has come to an end. Councillor Joaquín Villazón thanked the seven workers for the projects they have completed, including the creation of new forested walking paths in the Arroyo Hondo zone; the re-planting of more than 2,500 trees; trail clearing and the removal of debris and rubbish from the site of the proposed Al Baytar park.
