Torremolinos council last week gave initial approval to a scheme that will allow home and business owners to perform minor works, such as non-structural remodelling or exterior repairs, without applying for a licence, and instead filing a ‘declaration of responsibility’. Work can be started on the fifth business day following the filing of the declaration.
