A 28-year-old man was arrested in Arriate on April 19, after the Guardia Civil were called when he threatened his mother, breaking a restraining order she had against him, which led to officers discovering 46 marijuana plants that he as growing near his home. A statement released by the force last week said that officers noticed the smell of marijuana coming from his address when they went to arrest him for breaking the order, leading to them finding the plantation.
