Rincón de la Victoria town hall has extended until the end of the year the deadline for dog owners to have their pets DNA-tested for the town’s scheme aimed at identifying owners who fail to clean up after their animals. The move comes after just 840 of the town’s 9,700 registered dogs were submitted to the €35 vet test by the September deadline. Those who miss the new deadline will face fines.
