Two people have been detained in connection with the kidnap and murder of a 68-year-old businessman on Tenerife on December 15. An Australian man and a woman are suspected of hijacking his car in the centre of Santa Cruz and fleeing with their victim. Two hours later his burned body was found in the boot of the car which was dumped 80 kilometres away.
