The restoration of the Caminito del Rey cliff-side pathway at El Chorro has been named winner of an EU Prize for Cultural Heritage – Europa Nostra Award. It is one of 28 projects selected for the prize out of 187 contenders. The Diputación de Málaga has urged people to go online before May 8 and vote for the Caminito to also receive the Public Choice award (vote.europanostra.org).
