A 44-year-old British man was arrested in Marbella last Thursday after allegedly hitting a store employee when she caught him shoplifting at a supermarket on Avenida Ramón y Cajal. Based on the description she provided, police detained the man a short time later as he was coming out of an apartment block on Avenida de las Albarizas. The worker did not require medical attention.
