BIRTHDAY HONOURS
Gibraltar honoured Her Majesty the Queen’s 90th birthday on Thursday, April 21,with a birthday beacon on top of the rock’s Moorish Castle, which was lit by Manar Bentahayekt, a 22 year-old Gibraltarian with cerebral palsy. In addition, the number 90 was projected onto the town’s Moorish Castle, and an image of HM The Queen was also projected onto the rock’s north face overnight.
