Nearly 90 business owners in Coín, who are opposed to the ongoing works that will reduce Calle La Feria to one lane and make in one-way only, have presented an alternative plan that they say will preserve two-way traffic but make the street more pedestrian-friendly, which is the town hall’s goal. The alternative plan would see the pavement broadened on just one side of the road. A response from the town hall is expected soon.
