Officials are forecasting a record summer for the Gibraltar airport, with a sharp boost in the number of weekly flights meaning increased capacity and greater convenience for passengers.

With the addition of new routes and increased frequency on some existing ones, the airport will see a 35% jump in weekly flights and an over 40% boost in overall seats compared to last summer, according to data released by the government last week.
