The British coach of a Mijas-based football club has claimed his teams have been discriminated against, after they were removed from the town’s school leagues for the 2017/2018 season.
Matt Gore, who has lived in Mijas for 10 years and coaches the Field of Dreams FC teams, said he had “80 children ready to go, new kits and everything”, when he was informed that they would not be allowed to take part in the new season of the Liga Escuelita de Mijas, which began last October.
