Brit hit-and-run victim’s son released following arrest

Son's girlfriend, who was allegedly driving, and another man in the car were also released as investigation continues

A BRITISH man and his girlfriend, who were arrested over the hit-and-run death of the man’s father in Marbella last week, have been conditionally released as police investigations into alleged negligent manslaughter continue. Another British man who was in the car at the time of the incident, described as a friend of the family, was also arrested and released.

The body of the victim, a 59-year-old Briton, was found at 1.45am on Tuesday (January 23) in the street near his home in the La Alzambra zone.
