THE PROJECT to build a third lane along the A-7 motorway in Alicante and Murcia is moving ahead.
The ministry for public works has published its plans to widen two sections of the road, first between the Crevillente and Orihuela/Benferrí exits, and second from there on to the one for Monteagudo/Fortuna.
It said the aim is to resolve the traffic congestion problems that affect this part of the road.
